Waylon Jennings and Jessi Colter Restrike Poster

One of the pleasures of working in such a long-lived business (and working museum) is celebrating the moments on the timeline where the shop’s path crosses that of well-known or beloved artists and/or customers. 

We have the opportunity to do this with special posters such as this show poster from 1983 for Waylon Jennings and Jessi Colter when they played Jacksonville, Florida. From the type to the photoplates and hand cut background block that makes the stand-out gradient for this poster, all of these parts have lived in the shop since they were made in 1983 to advertise this show. All they needed was to be brought back together again and letterpress printed, just like they were the first time around. 

Now those who appreciate this era of music, these artists, or this style of gig poster-or all three!-can enjoy it with their own poster.
