Devin Goebel Always Print

Devin Goebel is an artist and designer currently working in Nashville, Tennessee. This body of work is derived from the carved blocks and wood type from the Hatch Show Print archive, originally used for advertisements back in the 1930s, ‘40s, and ‘50s. Their purpose has been abstracted over the years.

With this body of work Goebel wanted to push that abstraction of purpose further to the point where the original intention is no longer recognizable.
