Barnyard Animal Coloring Cards
The Barnyard Animals are a series designed in 1933 by Charles Clack of Dallas, Texas. He requested that Hatch Show Print carve the blocks in a unique arrangement that allowed for the many posters pulled from the blocks to be sold to graphic and industrial arts students during the Depression as examples of what can be done in woodcarving. Nashville's Purity Dairy later purchased posters from the same blocks to be given away at grocery stores for children to color with crayons.
This set features 9 note cards printed with the original Barnyard Animals, along with 10 envelopes and a set of 4 crayons for coloring.
