Patsy Cline Poster
This commemorative print celebrates Patsy Cline, one of the most influential vocalists of the twentieth century and the first woman inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
First produced in 1994, the poster features a hand-carved linoleum print block created in a similar way to the print blocks of the Grand Ole Opry stars from the late 1930s and 1940s, using a popular photograph of Cline as a reference, completed with wood and metal type.
Hatch Show Print produced show posters that included Patsy Cline on tour during her all-too-brief eight year recording career, most likely starting in 1958, when she moved to Nashville.
